Hello peeps! finally back to here, somewhere belongs to me.
time flies without even notifying me. 2016 is a nightmareeeeee i dont want 21 T^T
still owing myself a 2015 review and 2016 resolutions.
Anyways I'm still going to write about our batch trip first.
why is it called Archinee? It's a bit racism but yea, it stands for chiNESE in ARCHItecture course.
why is it Bangkok but not other places? No reason but I believe still lotsa places to explore in future.
before we actually started to plan the trip we never expect that everyone of us are joining.
the few persons in charging were like why everyone wants to go? lol
we knew that bringing 16 people for a trip is such a tough mission but who knows what are going to happen? Maybe there will be lotsa fun right.
and so we booked everything and ready to face every problem.
Right before we go for the trip we actually having our final exam for year 2 semester 1.
Luckily we had only one exam paper and it held on 31 Dec 2015. yeah we still went for countdown!
and then we rushed everything in the following 3 days before we departing on 4 Jan.
planning a perfect itinerary is merely impossible cuz we knew that not everyone is going to follow us to every places.
Plus, don't try to go as many places as you can. Brownie said this called Ambitious and I agreed with him XD
sharing with you our rough itinerary here:
Day 1:
Hotel check-in
Siam paragon, Siam centre
Platinum
Pratunam night market.
Day 2:
Erawan-shrine(四面佛)
Big C supermarket
Mahachai Railway market
Asiatique
Day 3:
Floating market
Grand palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho
Wang Lang
Khao San Road
Day 4:
Market
check-out, airport
It seems so relaxing but I would tell you we only managed to go 70% of it.
But still I had fun and enjoyed it :)
now let's the photos tell the story :)
I didn't know why but MCD became my meal-before-flight cuz I used to have MCD every time before I take flight. lol
no doubt, i did edit the photo ahhahaaha
we chose to take RM11 shuttle bus to go to KLIA2 instead of taking the RM35 transit train.
the journey takes an hour. I thought I will sleep but everyone of us was exited until we couldn't fall asleep haha
it's hard to book 16 flight tickets at the same time so we separated into two groups,
one taking flight earlier while another later.
was trying to take typical airport photo but someone boomed it ahaha cute leh
the first batch group photo before boarding
this feeling was great.
so hungry while waiting for the rest.
I took this photo and send to them asking them to come faster but I didn't remember that they were on the flight and don't have internet. lol
right after the second batch of people reached, we quickly find transport to go hotel.
we chose to take public transport instead of taking a van.
lesson learnt 1: don't try to save a little money and put yourself into hardship.
I'm not saying that taking public transport put us into hardship but if there is a second chance I would rather choose the van. hahahah
taking a 30baht bus to go MoChit BTS station.
taking the 34baht BTS transit to go to station Siam cuz our hotel is nearby there.
who did this? XD
green interior of Siam Paragon.
finally reached our hotel after half an hour of walking?
Hotel recommended by Brownie and now recommended by me: The residence of Rajtaevee
strategy location, located nearby SiamParagon,SiamCentre,Platinum,PratunamNightMarket
friendly staffs, nice and clean environment
but one thing to be improved is that breakfast should be provided to 2-person-room haha
in motion. were heading to PratunamNightMarket for dinner
pork stick!
sitting beside the road to settle our dinner while waiting for others
lesson learnt 2: buy everyone a sim card if possible
damn tired and hot lol
the only entertainment is taking selfie hahaha
salt fish recommended by ahgan, nice !
7-11 everywhere in Bangkok. It helps a lot when we're headache where to have breakfast haha
last meal of day 1, pork burger from 7-11 for supper.
the first day ended perfectly in the conversation of seven people in a 2-person room.
I'm started to miss you guys.
