Finally I can sit down and blog.
Alright. I'm actually quite free these few days but I'm just too lazy to type. haha
so I'm gonna share about my experience going to a kampung orang asli last week.
The trip was kind of unique for me because I've never interact with orang asli before neither staying their village. PLUS, my phone has broken down the day before i wanted to go to the village with my team.
I wonder the god wish me to enjoy til the max in the village or wanted to see me feeling bored all along the trip. Yea I bet you have never try to leave your cellphone for even one day right? I did, for four days. *claps*
I'm still alive! Meaning that everyone wouldn't die because of no cellphone. lol (but i will die without breakfast! hahaha)
Initially we planned to have a 4d3n trip to the village. We already scheduled everything but last last we decided to come back on the third day.
FYI, we go to the village is for the purpose of our Community Engagement assignment.
Every single group have to choose a place and organize some activities that can somehow give advantages to the community of the chosen place.
Idk why my group leader chose the Orang asli village since this seems the toughest job. But I do enjoy working in the village. :)
The villagers were not so welcoming but the kids were so heart warming.
They were so shy on the first day we reached, but the other day, they talked to us like we already get known with each other for years. kids ahh天真無邪 :)
I had just done the official report for presentation purpose so I will post a lottttt of photos instead of typing words, to make it doesn't feel like a report hahahahah.
Let's see the photos :)
the kampung we went to. which is nearby Banting
guess what are we making?
have to mention that the existing mural is not drawn by us haha
volunteers having fun with the kids
simple thing makes them happy. this is appreciation :)
the second day. when the mural is done :)

bahasa Mahmeri
a jetty nearby the village. our team leader said we should visit other nearby places also because we wont be back again hahahah
not dare to say that the trip had made some changes on me but I have learnt a lot.
orang asli culture, their lifestyle, their financial condition, their happy go lucky attitude, appreciation to nature..
I don't believe a baby born in city can stay in the village for long time since the kids there were really hyper active one. not even hyperactive they even like to fall down. a city baby will cry die haha lol.
so here comes the end of my community engagement project and special semester as well.
wat meant by the end of special semester? second year gonna start soon la..............
hopefully everything go smoothly.
